Looking for all the best non-toxic gifts for you little ones this year? I’ve got you covered! I broke this down into the different businesses and a summary of the options they offer. I obviously can’t list every toy everyone offers but linked all the sites so you can easily navigate to them. My hyper organized brain then wanted to break items down into categories for each area of gift giving and then price points and then my brain exploded. Just kidding I did decide after running through a ton of scenarios to keep it simple and just categorize based on brand. I really looked for brands that boast they use non-toxic paints, woods, and overall sustainable products for their consumers.

Best Non-Toxic Toys
Love Every is by far the most recommended non-toxic, age appropriate toy brand I’ve come across. They sell kits for ages 0 to teenage years. They are delivered to directly to your home each month. They have multiple toys in each kit and you can even further customize by adding a book to the kits. They design their toys to further you child’s physical and mental development. They also use wood and non-toxic supplies in most of their products. The down side is it is a subscription kit that you get monthly which doesn’t necessarily fit in everyones budget. Check them out here!
The tot is a great brand that puts safety and quality first and foremost in their products. They go as far to have their products tested for toxins, heavy metals and other toxic substances from an independent party, to help consumers rest assured they only sell safe, non-toxic products. While they have lots of different items on their site, they have a big toy section that is perfect for all ages. The have toys for pretend and dramatic play, costumes, stuffed animals, cars, climbing toys, play make-up, baby gyms and so much more. Check out all the great stuff here!
Earth Hero is an all around great brand to support. Their mission is to support sustainable, non-toxic products and minority owned companies. Their website features a a ton of products beyond just toy from clothing and pet items to home decor and even zero waste products. The toys section is mostly for younger kids but it’s great to see a company aligning it’s self with moral, ethical and environmental values. They even have bath bombs and beauty products you can add to your order. Check them out by clicking here!
Organically OT offers beautiful toys that are nature-based, support creativity and mindfulness in kids. They have a lot of yoga blocks and breathing boards to promote mindfulness for kids. They also have a lot of nature based toys like this tree block set I have featured on this page. They also have a good amount of modeling clay, One thing to take note of is the product and company information appears to be limited. Many of the toys claim to be sustainable and use non-toxic water-based paints but without certifications its not a 100% guarantee. Check out all their products here!
Etsy
Etsy has so many options for non-toxic toys for kids. You do have to search a bit but here a few of my favorite Etsy makers. As with anything handmade the actually source of products can be hard but having toys that are solid wood is a really good start. Also makers who use non-toxic paints and glues which many people mention in their listings.
GoodEvasKids and AvenlurKids have lots of climbing toys, indoor playgrounds and larger toys that support gross motor development in kids. They state their toys are solid wood, non-toxic and safe for kids to play on for many years. These are great options especially if you’re in a really cold area for part of the year and going outside isn’t always the ideal option.
MamasPsPlaceLLC has some fine motor development toys for kids that are non-toxic Montessori based! She has kits you can bundle or just individual items. The necklaces you can paint are my favorite from her for sure!
Aero1Toys makes some great solid wood train and car sets. For sure go for the non-painted versions as they do notappear to use or state they use non-toxic paint in their products. If you’re worried about the glue involved as well this may not be the best choice as they also don’t state that its non-toxic either.
Let me know if I missed some of your favorite non-toxic brands that I can add to this list for everyone to love and support! I also am making a another gift guide that is focused on experiences rather than items if more stuff and clutter isn’t speaking to you this year, which I completely understand!
